Description

The story.

The production of maccaroni in Gragnano dates to the late sixteenth century, with the first family-run pasta factories. It is towards the middle of the seventeenth century that the small town of the Lattari Mountains becomes famous to produce pasta. It’s with the passion and dedication of those early days that we decided to make you relive a story

The pasta.

Our pasta is produced with organic Italian durum wheat semolina, mainly coming from the regions of southern Italy. Its excellence is due to the raw materials used in production. In addition to being a pleasure for the senses, our pasta is good! in fact it is highly digestible and its organic production respects the environment. The bronze drawing, on the other hand, ensures unique sensations: the dough is rough, wrinkled favoring the union with the condiments.

The slow drying at low temperatures gives the recognizable color and preserves all the aromas and flavors while also allowing to preserve the lysine, a protein component present in rather low values in wheat, which deteriorates as the drying temperature increases.
